Narration can totally change a book

I really do love Kate Stewart and her "Easter eggs". Thus was a wonderful story but, delivery/narration is EVERYTHING, and can have major negative or positive effects with audiobooks. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell completely enhanced so many of KS books.
I, personally, was not a fan of either narrator of Method. I did enjoy the story but, I am hard pressed to rate this at 4 💫 overall. In fact, I feel that is very generous.

Wow, just wow

This was a blind read but I love Kate Stewart… and she didn’t disappoint. Her writing and storytelling can move mountains. The performances of the narrators mainly the female narrator was top tier.

This book deserves more love!

This is my first time reading a romance that really focuses on the MMC's career. He's a method actor. The story has a lot of flashbacks, but unlike other books where they feel unnecessary, this one is worth reading.

One of my favorite scenes was when the MMC revealed the lengths he went to just to impress the FMC on their dates. It was heartbreaking. He's rich and famous, but he grew up poor and never finished school, while the FMC is highly educated. So yeah, imagine his insecurities...

Did MMC cheat? No he didn't. But MMC became too immersed in his role and crossed a line that deeply hurt the FMC. MMC later explained why he did it.

Overall, I love it. It was emotional, beautifully written, and had a satisfying happy ending. I honestly think this book deserves so much more love.

Heartbreakingly good

I love the mental health aspect of this story. It’s a deep story about actors and everything they go through, but also the partners of said actors. It comes together in a beautiful ending that is both heartbreaking and healing
