As I walk across the parking lot, my mind on another day of teaching third-graders, I'm taken. Abducted by nonhumans. Aliens. Monsters, one might call them. I certainly do.

When I'm taken again - from aliens by aliens - my dire circumstances are worsened by an immensely irritating male named Jax. He is brutal, crude, arrogant, and obnoxious. Everything I dislike in a man. Apparently, he is also quite broken, and he thinks I'm beautiful. Me.

How on earth am I supposed to resist him? I suppose on earth, I could. But we're not on earth anymore, and all bets are off.

Third grade teacher is abducted by non-human Aliens and sold to bug Aliens to be the Queen for their King to lay eggs because his previous Queens had died and they believed human might do better. Then other Aliens take over the ship and she decides to fight for her life.
By attacking an horrible, irritating male named Jax.
He is brutal, crude, arrogant, and obnoxious. Everything she dislikes in a male. How will she survive being taken again. This is a story about an alien, human romance.

Hardheaded and Stubborn

The FMC was hard headed and stubborn! But I’m glad our favorite alien got his HEA!

Wannabe Mary Poppins was an idiot

This was a pretty good installment featuring mohawked alien Jax and school teacher Alice. I especially liked that the previous MCs all get some screen time. The sex was also varied a bit, which I appreciate. Even though in theory this series offers up different kinds of alien MCs, I’m finding that they all have sex the same, have the same kind of Johnsons (in other words, with no extras and just larger than a human male), and are narrated with the same voicing.

I was exasperated at Alice’s TSTL behavior and lost count of how many times she charged head first into danger without a clue. There was the time she fled shelter and got lost, the time she danced in a storm although Jax warned her it killed people, the time she stowed away to play savior-mom, the time she charged into the Lord of the Flies alien-kids’ lair … Then there was the way she talked to everyone like they were her kindergarten students. I found her to be needy and wishy-washy. I’m not sure what Jax saw in her.
