A widowed father of two little girls. The beautiful nanny he's hired to raise them. A forbidden romance unlike any other.

When I first applied for the job I thought it would be like all the others: working as a nanny for an aristocratic family.

Then I got the job and found out how wrong I was. Now I'm the new nanny for two adorable little girls who happen to be princesses.

Their father is the widowed King of Denmark. And my new home? The royal palace in Copenhagen. Adjusting to my new life isn't easy but the hardest part hasn't been the girls who still grieve over the loss of their mother.

It's their father.

Cold, mysterious, and moody, with an icy stare that seems to penetrate your soul, King Aksel may have hired me to take care of his daughters but he wants as little to do with me as possible.

Yet the longer I share these palace walls with this man, the more that I'm drawn to him. His chiseled face and sexual swagger are only part of the package. It's in the long, intense glances at the dinner table, the way we'll brush up against each other in the halls, the rare glimpses of the man deep inside, like the sun passing through clouds.

But no matter how I feel about him, we can never be together.

You think it's bad enough being in love with your boss?

Try falling in love with a king.

Contains mature themes.

One of my fave royal romances. It reminded me of The Sound of Music. The rebuilding of this family is heart melting.

Little princesses, grumpy king, and a pet pig

I expected a little bit more from this book. There are still some points that were unrealistic, even in fantasy, that I had to put the book down a couple times. I would’ve liked a little more sass from the female character. She was, but not persistent.

Was it worth a credit? No.

Will I read it again? No

Good but disappointing

Love the story, not a fan of the narrators. The heroine is supposed to be Australian and the way she does the hero’s voice sounds like a cartoon. The male narrator is fine, but I ended up giving up.

Not the best

The female narrator's voice was annoying and too childish. She was supposed to have an Australian accent and is was glaringly absent. Love this author and enjoyed the book

I enjoyed this book the first and second time around. The story has all the elements I love.
But the female narrator's male voice was very cringy. It just didn't work for me and a lot of time it took me out of the story.
Also, the FMC is Australian in the story and the narrator does not speak with that accent, even when it talks about it in the story. Maybe I'm just being nitpicky, but if your main character is going to have an accent the narrator(s) should be able to do it.

Excellent Age Gap, Nanny Romance!!
