Beautiful story of grace and faith. Beautiful love that settles in under the steady voice of the narrator. Roseanna knows the heart and mind. She delivers mature realistic characters with spiritual challenges that resonate outside the formula. This is my favorite Roseanna M. White.

Roseanna White has once again woven an excellent story, full of deep journeys, history, romance, and faith! And Susan Lyons is a masterful narrator! I’ve loved each of the books I’ve listened to my this author. I love seeing the characters that I’ve gotten to know appear again, from one book to the next.

I didn’t think I would enjoy this book as much as the previous Codebreaker book but it surpassed it. Full of drama, espionage, intrigue & romance. I love how Ms. White gives us a glimpse into history as well. I was not a good history student ( presented in a dry & boring fashion when I was in school) and her books have caused me to do research now into these periods of history that I know little about.
Thank you Ms. White, keep them coming.
