I read this after reading / listening to the rest of the series and had already fallen in love with Easton Blackwood and Sophia "Dash" Davis as the parents to the Blackwood kids who are represented in the Love & Lyrics series. To go back and get their story? Absolute heaven! No, this isn't always a sweet book, but I fell even further into my crush on Easton. 🫠🔥💜

Easton and Sophia have sparks flying from that first swat. I love their journey, the ups, downs, and everything in between!

I'm tempted to write a long review, but I might never stop, so here are the things that I most love: Easton has a terrific and supportive family. The way Easton reacts to and interacts with Kendall set my ovaries into overdrive. Sophia is fierce in protecting those she loves. Sophia never gives up on her dreams, even when dealt some serious curve balls. The two of them together... liquid heat! 🔥💜🔥

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Theo Sinclair and Lee Daniels. I really enjoyed listening to both of them!

A wonderful love story!

I loved Sophia and Easton's story! Finding out she's pregnant by a lying, deceitful human being, Sophia decides she needs a fresh start and moves in with her cousin in New York and is determined to pursue her dream of attending law school.

Easton meets Sophia when she saves him from a "killer" bee. As their relation builds, Easton is determined to help Sophia's dreams come true as well as protect and love Kendall as his own.

A beautiful love story of a single mother giving love another chance! Great narration by Lee Daniels and Theo Sinclair.

Sweet story

This is a pretty sweet low angst story. Well written and pure romance. Narration is done well and though I wish we got a little more with the side characters. I really enjoyed it.

Swoon-y, Steamy, Romance!

An entertaining single mom rockstar romance! Sophia and Easton are a wonderful couple with an adorable meet cute!

Sophia hasn't had the best upbringing and getting pregnant at 18 didn't help. Nor did her child's father, who is a complete dirtbag. She moves out to New York to live with her cousin for a fresh start. Years later, she's working her way through college with hopes to go to law school, when one day she saves a guy from a "killer" bee with her flipflop. Sophia is a strong character, on occasion a little stubborn, but it works well with her personality rather than being too annoying. She knows what she wants in life and is working towards that goal and taking care of a young child. I liked her strength, especially, when she decides to trust someone else with her heart.

Easton has had a different life from Sophia, with a loving family and lots of money. Plus, he didn't get pregnant at 18. I loved how he jumped in with two feet when it came to Sophia (and eventually Kendall). He was so protective from the get-go and his family was incredibly welcoming (after some minor reservations).

One of the greatest things about this story is little Kendall! One, because of the story how she was named. And two, she's more than a houseplant. She's six year old and she gets to act like a child, rather than a forty year old, and be actually included in the story.

This story has several steamy scenes, surprise pregnancy and minor complications, and #MeToo vibes.

I liked the narrators! They each did a great job giving live to the characters life and making them likable. The book is dual narration, with the male narrator voicing all voices in Easton's chapters and vice versa for the female narrator with Sophia. I listened at 1.2x speed.

Single mom romance

I absolutely loved this single mom romance by Nikki Ash. The storyline was great with wonderful characters. There were parts where my blood boiled, I got so mad. Other parts where I teared up with my heart squeezing tight. The best parts had me smiling ear to ear. I loved the ending. I only wish this had been longer.

Lee Daniels and Theo Sinclair are excellent narrators. They brought this book to life. It rolled like a movie in my head. Great performances!

Sweet, low angst Rockstar baby romance by Nikki Ash.

Narrated by Lee Daniel's and Theo Sinclair who sound perfect together. Theo has the perfect voice for a famous Rockstar, I could listen to him narrate a phone book!

Sophia has had zero luck with love until Easton charges onto the scene trying to escape a killer bee! There was instant chemistry and one thing led to another <wink wink>
Fast forward a month and things got real after a positive pregnancy test.

What Easton doesn't know is that she is a single mom of the cutest little 7 yr old girl.
Pretty sure he fell in love with both at first sight. And, really, who doesn't fantasize of a hot, romantic, rockstar to fall head over heels with you and your child and swooping in to make all your dreams come true? I mean, isnt that one of the reasons we love romance books?

I loved this!

Nikki Ash is a new favorite author of mine. She writes romances with babies so well. This single mom romance was so much fun and also brought so many emotions. The narrators were excellent too! I can’t wait for more in this world.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved both the H and h characters. Performance was perfect. I hope to hear from this dual again. Good writing as well. Highly recommend!

I thought this was a really cute read. I freaking LOVED Easton! This was the perfect pallet cleanser and you can't go wrong with a Nikki Ash book! I listen on audible and the voices were just perfect!

Wonderful Story!

​Easton is a famous rockstar who ends up in a struggle with a bee, but he's saved when Sophia sees the "fight" and kills said bee with her sandals. This is the beginning of a sweet, emotional story with a slight bit of angst from a devious ex. It's a phenomenal rockstar book in the Raging Chaos world, where many of the side characters are familiar to the reader and are the focus of the series. When Easton falls first, he has to convince Sophia that she'll fit into his world, and it takes almost to the very end before her trust in him is complete. Sophia's daughter, Kendall, is the star of the story with her love of music and relationship with Easton.
Lee Daniels and Theo Sinclair do a marvelous job with the narration. Their dynamic, well-modulated voices bring each of the characters to life with unique personalities and emotions.
