Publisher's summary

Nothing bad is supposed to happen in Palm Springs. At least that's what San Francisco private detective Tom Danzel and his partner, Stanley Korski, believe. But when their friend Chris finds a dead body in his hotel room bed, Tom and Stanley drive out to help the local police investigate. What they discover is a gangster's plot, a rather nasty green snake, and an elegant hotel that offers delicacies not usually found on a room service menu. The two detectives are going to have to rely on their skills and each other if they're going to survive this very deadly kind of love.

The best one, at least for me

This was a really good mystery, but I could have done it without all the evil oriental stereotype. I mean, seriously, it was like one of the characters was Fu Manchu.

Other than that, I enjoyed a lot the mystery part of the story, I was delighted that Chris played a bigger part on it and that I really can see, for the first time, that Stanley and Tom are aware that they have issues that they need to face if they want their relationship to last.

I think that this one the book I liked the most in the whole series, so there is hope *laughs* I must confess, these books are like fast-food: not really good, and yet, I can't avoid wanting it :P

good

A lot more action and drama than I expected. I didn't guess the villain and am shocked by the reasoning. Suspenseful. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Witchy fun

Jeff and Dana are having a fun adventure. You have so much happing what a exciting adventure. You have demons and witchcraft with lots of adventure and a little romance between the sheriff wolf shifter and Dana. Great storyline. Can’t wait to start the next book. The narration was good.
