just loved it. great plot, well developed characters, and great ending. just love it.

Really enjoyed this book!

I loved the strong female lead with the trash mouth! Finally a book that starts with a strong female, and ends with a strong female. I am so tired of stories with a strong female lead who ends up buckling and then being rescued by a man in the end. This book was interesting, funny at times, had a great lead character full of grit and flaws, and as a bonus,, was full of facts about the injustices in our legal system. Highly recommend!

Great legal battle

This is a fantastic twist on a legal/lawyer drama, both in terms of the case itself and the defense lawyer herself. she isn't what you expect and, some might not like the profanity, but I believe it suited her to a T. and the narration was excellent. loved the book.

Couldn’t stop

I could not stop listening to this book. It is not often that a book makes me cry, let alone a legal thriller. This book grabbed onto my heart and tugged!!

Real life dialogue.

Performance was excellent. Story was easy to follow. Good point about the bad interpretation of our legal system.

Loved the story!

I loved the characters and the whole story line. Rigged system, someone who needs someone, love and everything in between. Love this author and will continue to read his books!

the characters were well developed and the plot, unfortunately, was very realistic. I hope to see these characters again!

Victoria Methos?

I’m just playing. But seriously. I’m all for the me too movement, but this book was a little too mushy. A little less relationship drama and a little bit more court room action would be nice. I gave it four stars overall because it was pretty good Mostly. Reads a little like a Nora Roberts book. At least with Nora Roberts, I know what to expect.

I don’t know if there was supposed be a surprise ending - But to me it was glaringly obvious who was responsible. That’s all I’ll say
