Love the story hated the virtual voice

This was a very good read and my favorite narrators would have made it even better, the virtual voice took away from the swag of the book and storyline..

Virtual voice is a BIG NO! They need to cut it out! Story line ok typical we sell drugs, and made it big storyline.

the AI reading is ROUGH

The story is strong but the AI reading is awful. it does get a little better towards the end but it's not the best AI reading.

Vitual Narration... NO

The narration was horrible, no feeling in the words. Also if you're using AI why not have different voices for each character so we're not listening to the same monotone voice the entire story!

BBW's have that good good!

I loved the story line and the plot twists- never saw them coming. Also me being a BBW I could relate to some of it.
Only thing cringing was the AI, didn't give certain scenes what it needed to give.

A.I. performance reading???

I really like the story. It’s obvious that the writer has a gift and ability to sweep a reader away from reality. My issue is with the AI generated performance reading. Computers could and will never embrace and capture the nuances and passion of good storytelling and narration. This especially important when telling Black/African American stories. Our ability to tell compelling stories is deeply rooted in our culture. The AI tech is bereft and soulless.

An Interesting Experience

This was my first time listening to a book with a computer generated voice. It was an interesting experience. At first I could tell the difference but the missing changed it inflection and the robotic cussing...it was obviously different. Also the story was ok. The overall story was good but the characters felt cliche.
