Enchanting!
I concur with those who said, "this a must read". It's one of the best books I've listened to.
At first I wanted to shake "door-mat Douglas" for putting up with Robert--for her making excuses for his ill treatment of her...and I wanted to knock him on his you know what.
It was inexcusable when Robert and his ill tempered daughter left Douglas stranded at an old, rarely visited church in rural England with no money and no transportation, but that is when her adventure begins. An adventure that changes her life forever.
I think Steve West was the perfect choice for narrator. He does well portraying both men and women, and reads with such feeling. I laughed and cried as the story unfolded.
Although I'm not into time travel books, I highly recommend this one!

Oh my gosh, I loved it.
This was a wonderful book. I didn't stop till it was over. I haven't heard of this author but she's great. The reader was also wonderful.

LOVE this story, should've been made into a movie!
Very engaging and I love the time travel love story. Narrator's voicing of the female lead could've been better.

A story. Of love’s strength
This story was righten to show s lovely couple through their eternal love through the troubled and triumphs with a truly surprising twist at the end. A great read with a cup of tea and a open heart.

lots of fun
really loved this audiobook, it is actually my first and I truly enjoyed it.. The narrator was a man and the female characters he did well but were a stretch for me, due to my unfamiliarity with audio books. I definitely recommend this book and would listen to it again.

Still a classic
I read this book when it was first was released and have periodically read over the years as the story holds a special place in my heart. Although pieces are dated now it is still a lovely romance of a love that crosses time itself. Steve West does an excellent job narrating and anytime I may read in the future I will forevermore hear his voice as Nicholas Stafford.
