Heartwarming age gap romance

I had previously read this book when it came out and really enjoyed it. Listening to Sadie Provost bring the characters to life was a true joy! If you are a fan of the age gap trope, then be sure to check this one out as there are a few twists and turns along the way that are sure to keep you entertained.

Here is my original review after reading the book: I really enjoyed this story about Ella, a late-bloomer who is recently divorced and ready to finally jump into the dating pool. Only trouble is that she hasn't dated in ages, and she's never dated a woman. On her first night out at the local LGBT club, she meets Parker, the bartender. Ella is instantly smitten, but then learns that she's closer in age to Ella's daughter, and Ella just can't see how that would work out well. Following the course of their friendship/relationship was interesting, and there were a couple of twists and turns along the way, adding to the intensity of the story. Supporting characters from Ella's family, Alex and AJ, were wonderful too, and the author especially captured the sulkiness of a teen exceptionally well LOL. If you want an age-gap story that will make you laugh and cry, then check this one out. I'm looking forward to seeing what the author writes next. (Update: the author’s second book, Don’t Circle Or, is one of my favorite reads and I’m really looking forward to an audiobook version of that as well!)

Listen to This Book!

I read this book last year and refused to stop reading it until I was done. Listening to it felt like reading it for the first time all over again. Kellan’s ability to take you on emotional ups and downs is crazy good! Being able to hear the voices of the characters brought to life by Sadie Provost made took A Perfect Fit to an even higher level.
You can feel the spark between Parker and Ella from the first time they meet and you’re drawn in even more through out the book. If you’re on the fence about this read, I say don’t wait one more moment. You won’t regret it.

A Perfect Story

I totally enjoyed this book! I will be looking for more from Kellan McKnight. Sadie Provost is amazing. She is the most wonderful narrator.

This book is amazing! The characters Kellan McKnight created are flawed and loveable and I adore them. You’ll fall in love with Parker, Ella, A.J., Kat and the supporting characters as well. The story is fantastic and I loved reading the book.

Discovering the Audible version was a gift. I recently discovered Audible books and it adds a whole new love for novels that I’ve already read as well as novels that are new to me. Hearing amazing narrators read books that I love brings a whole new aspect to the characters and to the story. Kellan McKnight found the perfect narrator to bring this book to Audible. I have no idea how they connected, but DAMN! I am, obviously, a fan of Kellan, and she has introduced me to Sadie Provost, who is now stuck with me as a fan as well! I hope Sadie Provost narrates many more books because her voice is lovely. Buy this book as well as the Audible book, everyone! You won’t be disappointed.
