Jerrad and Keith are still in Leone and trying to keep Faden and themselves from getting recaptured. When Jerrad learns about Kev, he wants nothing more than to find him. The Keln just want them all dead.

Good sequence.
Good follow up to the first book. I enjoyed the progression in the story line and the different perspectives to keep stuff fresh. My only dislike is the repeat of a chapter from the first book.
