Publisher's summary

When Gabriel Lee escapes an unhappy marriage and moves to Porlington to start over, he finds himself part of the Porlington Philharmonia - an orchestra made up of the usual characters you would find in such a thing. Until one of them is found dead following a concert.

Suddenly, everybody is a suspect, but nobody seems likely.

A thriller full of intrigue and humour, this tale gives an insight into just what a barmy world musicians live in, especially when things go fatally wrong.

A fun listen

Yes, there are twists and (at least) a murder, which was well executed in this story. The LOL moments were numerous ..because of the delightful wit and skill of the author. What's not to laugh at with menopause? Listen for the radio show...lots o laughs. The narration was a bit bland for my liking but did not detract from my listening experience.

Pretty Good

This is a pretty good story. The story is interesting and there are some rather quirky yet realistic characters. The only complaint I have is that the mystery took a backseat to the story. In fact, no one was murdered until the second half of the story. But, I have to say that it didn't matter. The story was entertaining and enjoyable and I will listen to the next book.
