I liked the fact that the experiences described and techniques were not solely based on religion but at the same time supported those who do have their religious beliefs involved in Out of body experiences it appeals to a large inclusive audience

Great Information on Astral Travel

Even if you yourself are not interested in exploring the other realms and planes, this book gives great information on theory, experiences and potential spiritual growth from OBEs.

And, as a person who has been practicing astral projection for the sake of interpersonal divination, this book provides several different techniques for physical departure such as visualization, lucid dreaming, hypnosis, affirmations, and sound based. (He seems to prefer to focus on visualization and affirmations since he uses them often.) Additionally! He provides insight on how to STAY OUT of your physical body and improve the vividness/controllability of the whole experience.

Solid book for beginners and intermediates! He even gives you enough theory on the topic that you can cook up your own personalized techniques. (I have adhd and my focus often glazes over heavily repeated techniques and using several gets a better and more consistent outcome)

Learned a bit about quantum theory in the process! The association hasn't been fully explored from the scientific perspective, but it's an interesting thought that OBEs and other realms could be proved in a way that isn't anecdotal.
