Publisher's summary

Coke Solomon has lived a full life.

He’s a retired army drill sergeant, so he is more than used to getting his way.

And if he can’t have it his way? Well, let’s just say that’s never happened before...

At least not until Cora Maldonado walks into his life, demanding he fall in line, or she’ll find a way to make his life hell.

He finds out fast that Cora marches to the beat of her own drum, and a lot of times that drum takes her farther away rather than closer to where he feels she needs to be.

He can’t stand it.

He wants her, and he has to have her.

It doesn’t matter that she’s younger than him, and has a father that would rather see him dead than have his baby girl anywhere near him. Nor does it matter that his ex-wife is highly offended that she’s been replaced with a much younger woman.

Despite the odds stacking against them, he’ll fight for what he wants.

His ex-wife, her father, and their age difference be damned.

Bravo

Great easy listen, the action was campy but it was good. I loved how the female characters were completely perfect with basic quirks.... I loved it, it's worth it.

Ain't Doin' It

Great job on all counts. Let's just say Coke and Cora's book is my ultimate favorite book from this series. This man is beyond sexy and not to mention it's an age gap, which, by the way, is my favorite genre. Well done, everyone.

Favorite book of the series

Joe Arden and Virginia Rose did another outstanding job on this book.

This book was my favorite of the series. Coke and Cora had something really special. I loved that they both had some firsts to experience together even though Coke had been married for a long time. Coke was a good man to have stayed with such an awful woman all those years for his daughter.

I absolutely loved the Cora was able to handle and take care of herself when she needed to. She didn’t have to have someone come save her. She saved herself. Cora was a wonderful influence on Coke’s daughter Frankie as well and I loved that.

I loved how Coke dealt with his ex wife and I was so glad she got was she deserved in the end.

Loved it

I love Coke and Cora. This book is on my often reread pile and I love that it’s now in audible. You get your sex but an actual story too. A little bit of an age gap dynamic. Narration is fantastic and easy to follow.

Loved it!

Loved this story. Coke and Cora are an odd pair, but they work. The Happily Ever After was an absolute joy.

I REALLY liked that we get to see young Luca and Frankie, and how they met, and how their families were related.

Joe Arden is always a pleasure to listen to. It was a good combination of narrators.

Recommended audiobook.

Coke & Cora

An entertainingly sweet, exciting and fun story. Coke and Cora are beautiful together. They may have an age difference but who cares, the friendship they developed and their chemistry makes you forget about it. This was an enjoyable book. Narration is perfect.
