Totally misleading. This title just stops, with a contrived cliff-hanger. Not a complete Book, One or otherwise.
On the plus side, the story is engaging and actually very original, which only contributes to the frustration at the end.
I have to admit, I'm intrigued, not only to find out what happens next, but to find out how this can be only one-third of the story, it seems so close to completion...
Some other reviews have mentioned the veiled Christian dogma, but unless it is coming in later volumes, so far so good. Or should I say, Good and Evil?
Should be Section One, not Book One

I’d like to hear more differentiation between the female and male voices.

Any additional comments?
I listened to Green first (Book zero) and was interested in the story and have the entire series in paperback at home and have been meaning to read it. I started Black in paperback at home before I started listening to the series. Then after I got my credits I download Green and listened to it and then started on Black and this Narrator is way to fast and doesn't change their voice at all with the different characters and completely ignores any periods or commas it seems. The narrator really takes away from the story sometimes because you have to figure out who is saying what at times. I tend to listen to these while I am working and it becomes distracting at times because of having to concentrate on listening so you know when there are two different people talking. To me, it seems like he is reading long run-on sentences very fast rather than a conversation between people at times. Unfortunately Black, Red, & White are all read by the same narrator and I'm not really looking forward to listening to the rest of them like this. I am really glad that I can get my credits back because of the narrator. I'll gladly read the rest of them at home in paperback to get the rest of the story. Overall though the story is excellent and very interesting.Needs a different narrator, but great story!
