What made the experience of listening to Kiss Me, Deadly the most enjoyable?
Listening to Mr. Spillane's books as embodied by Stacy Keach reading Mike Hammer was like conversing to a yarn spun by the man himself. Having had the pleasure of conversing with Mr. Spillane at his home in 1984, reading his works (or listening to them) are like extending the visit. We shared mechanics at the time and Mr. Spillane spoke as he wrote. This story was just another example of his view on life. I have heard other readings of Mr. Spillane works, and only Mr. Keach grasps or fills the size 12's of Mike Hammer. everyone else that has tried has fallen far short for his efforts. What did you like best about this story?
Just another one... predictable, yet immensely enjoyable. What about Stacy Keach’s performance did you like?
You mean... the Hammer? No body else can be him.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I knew Lily was trouble...Any additional comments?
Just an enjoyable listen... well worth the price of admission.Good looking dames... the death to us all
