I'm generally a fan of Mr. Rollins use of history, science and fiction to create a unique brand of entertaining storytelling. I enjoyed a lot.

The novel really hit one my interest in historical civilizations partic'ly the Inca. Do I truly applied the author sticking close to what we belief there culture would have been if survived till today do I was disappointed in how Inquisitors came off strong then near the end of the novel they fell like dominos to abit of tricky like thecigaret part. An the narrator sould have worked on his spsnish/tribal accent for the Inca and Inquisitor people because they all sound american except the young boy and ince kings because of there ages and such. An the the scifi twist at the end felt like you wear putting it be to much on it after everything else the chacthers saw and figured out threw the novel.

We liked it a lot. Wished it hadn't skipped around so much. A little hard to follow at times but otherwise, very Interesting.

A very different story

I enjoy the level of detail the James Rollins continues to display in all of his writings. Specifically how he weaved the excavation with the Inca culture, plus the inclusion of the predecessor civilization, which has been extensively written about the proceeded the in class. The processors were much more elaborate and exquisite in their knowledge, architecture, and technology. The twist of the gold substance, allegedly natural none about, added an unexpected twist to the story the entire time I was at the edge of my seat. Very good book!

The intricacy of the depiction of the income culture in their predecessors

Don’t know if the book is written this way but story line run back and forth with no pause to the point that you have trouble following where you are and with whom. Story was interesting but hard to follow
