getting me started on gersons

I found this to be interesting and informative in my study of nutrition And health

Life saving information, poor choice of narrator.

Riveting case histories and life saving theories and applications. I found the narrator overly pedantic to the point where it detracted significantly from my ability to absorb the information. Will have to rely on the kindle book version.

Where does The Gerson Therapy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is probably the best book I've ever read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Charlotte Gerson does a great job linking today to what Gerson was talking about decades ago.

What about Tavia Gilbert’s performance did you like?

Clear, concise delivery. Did especially well when narrating the stories of Gerson patients.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When I realized that I didn't have to depend on the fickle nature of modern medicine to overcome my condition, it was a very freeing experience. If you've been diagnosed with a debilitating illness, explore all your options. A word to the wise, THERE IS NO ROOM FOR CHEATING IN THIS THERAPY. It only works if you follow it like scripture.

Any additional comments?

After I listened to this book, I researched the subject in depth. I couldn't find anything in the book that wasn't true. In point of fact, the best thing I got from doctors, documentaries, books and all the other sources I picked over, was "we don't know why that happens". Gerson doesn't promise to cure everything but a 50% cure rate of patients already considered terminal by the doctors supposed to be saving them? It's worth it to those of us who can't afford or don't want to be dependent on drugs.

Informative and life changing

Having lost a dear friend recently to pancreatic cancer and becoming so much more vividly aware of my own personal health issues, this book has been deeply informative, educational and a life changer for me.
