The story line is great and the narrating is over the top. Definitely one of the best Louis L'Amour book I've read.

Nobody did it better than Mr. L'Amour. I've read his books more than once and will reread em all again.

Precious Story

Once I leafed through a book titled “Best Western Authors,” without a single mention of Louis L’Amour. I was stunned and confused.
I am convinced after listening to this gem, he was omitted due to jealousy. There is no way to not adore this author, this story of the old west, and the intricate troubles men faced in those days. R.I.P.
