Good book, but may need paper version

Contains a lot of great ideas, but makes many references to worksheets or visual information that is not available in audio format.

A must for anyone transitioning

Full of important insight in how to approach a transition; internally or externally. Though getting the buy-in to follow the plan may be difficult, it emphasizes the importance of seeking to understand first and gives helpful hints in how to create a plan to win. I've already used a few of the techniques to help organize my thoughts in my new role!

Good Content-Requires Book for Full Effect

This is a good book with poignant content however, it overly relies on the physical book. I think around every 20 minutes max, there was a reference to a table or visual in the book. l found this to be really distracting.
Furthermore, for those like me who consume two or more audiobook a month, the narrator felt rather bland. This is a minor issue but I felt it would be pertinent to audiobook aficionados like me. I definitely lost focus several times just from the narrator's tone of voice.
If you are not too critical on narrators, and want a good guide for an on the job new or first time management process. This is a very good guide.

Good Information but unable to get into audio

Wish I had purchased the regular book instead of the audio version. Finding it very hard to get into the narration, very slow in my opinion.

Concrete guide for the first 90 days

No bullshit, straight to action type of guide to get a jump start in a new position. Lots of good tips and tools. A must read even for leaders who are not changing jobs.
