The Dark

love this book kept me on edge thru the read.

left me wanting more, outstanding characters, narration was on point. hope to see more from author.

Sure. He has potential to be one of the Greats some day. This book kinda missed the mark though

Sure, it's pretty much the movie "The Mist" I believe.

This book seemed too short. So much potential to be a great read. I wish there were more detail, and the book had more action.

not too bad

I enjoyed the story while I listened to it but ultimately it'll be kind of forgettable. The premise is not fully new but implemented well although it seemed a little lacking in some depth. The characters were fine if on some fronts a little under explored. it feel like it could have been either a shorter story or much longer. Decently written and well performed.

Keep the light on!

I literally could not stop listening to this book. I jumped at sounds in my house and loved it. I haven't had a good horror book in years. This is a must read and my favorite horror of 2020.

Scary as heck!

This book has a scary vibe from the very beginning! It follows a few scattered people and their experiences in the Dark. They eventually come together and hope to get rescued.
The only people alive now are people that had light with them when a giant explosion happened at a research facility. The dead are not staying dead. They stay in the Dark and try to lure people in or grab those that lose their light source.
Very scary and creepy. Not much to see in the way of monsters but the psychological aspect is scary as heck!
Of course the government is trying to cover it up, but they won't be able to if there are survivors!
