Promising story - beyond terrible narration

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The narrator was HORRIBLE. It wasn't bad enough that the story was intense, but the overdramatization just ruined the whole experience.

How could the performance have been better?

Read the dang story before you try to narrate it.

Any additional comments?

I wouldn't have wasted the credit if I had known she ruined a perfectly good story.

I read to escape and enjoy. The entire book evolved around rape of character and vengence/recovery. Serious important subject. But not the escape from my world I was looking for.
