WOW, did I need this!

Being a Mom of 5, (3 wonderful duaghters and 2 loving sons) and living out in the middle of no where. I was drowning in the sea of "Why can't you get this together" syndrome. After our second son was diagnosed with severe autism I allowed my self to slip into a drepression that I got comfortable wallowing in, and covid lockdowns made this real easy. However, God is Good, and a friend sent me this book as a Christmas present. I am so glad I decided to read more for lent and God truly spoke to me through Sarah and Sally. So many time through this book I found myself nodding along with the same experiences, flaws and self doubt they had once had. And even though my family is much different from theirs, I have come to the understanding that through God's grace I will be the Mom my kids need me to be. Thank you ladies for being Christ's light in my world so I can be that light for my children.

Loved it!

This is such an honest and well rounded approach to helping moms who struggle. I'm so glad it was recommended to me. It made me realize I'm not alone and gave practical advice seasoned with truth that inspired me to relax and love being a mom again. So good!

I’m about to listen to this book again. It is SUCH an encouragement to me, as I have been in a dark place with motherhood. I now feel inspired & have a renewed sense of hope that my job as a mom can be fulfilling & joyful. I’ve already seen a HUGE difference in my children because I’ve changed my attitude & my heart, therefore I’m more patient, loving & creative with parenting & discipline. READ this book!!!!!
