Great book! Worth the time!!

I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.

Adriana has been through some s**t in her life. She has seen things and lived through the worst possible thing ever. Wanting to give herself a better life and put into a position that she couldn't turn her back on she is thrust into Vince's world and things get messy.
Vince has never had to worry about anything or anyone but himself and his family. His world is turned upside down when he meets Adriana.

The thing I loved most about this book is Adriana. She stands up for herself and never backs down; she hates giving up control but knows when to. She is a believable character.
Vince is a believable character on some aspects. Wouldn't mind having a Vincent of my own. ;) So parts seemed a little off with him. But, all in all, great character development and great story. Very VERY hot and VERY action packed!

Can't wait for book two! I also highly recommend you pick up a copy of this book!

This one sort of reminded me of a pet story. The woman had to come and sit when the master told her to do it. The narrator kept me in the game but the story was light. I will pass on any others that come out in the series.

A Klepto & a gangster

I have mixed emotions about this one...

Let me start with the things I didn't like:

The narrator was ok. She wasn't bad, i mean i finished the book but she is an acquired taste... I think she has too much of a "chipper" voice. Despite this, she does handle male/female narrative well.

There are gaps in this listen....I mean some things just didn't make sense... I mean why does Vincent have these urges? What's his story? What makes him that addictive?

Finally on my list of things I didn't like..... I can get into the whole BDSM thing.... But this author made this duos relationship as one sided. He likes to beat women raw with a belt, choke them till they can't breathe & she doesn't like it but she let's him do it because???? O_o

Now this book did have potential.... I liked the idea of falling for a mobster & the beginning was sort intriguing and catching.... There is a little bit of storytelling... More of a glance into the lives of mobsters..... a few close calls.... A few dysfunctional relationships....

I honestly would give this book 2.5 at most.... There was potential in this book.... But it just wasn't achieved!
