My head is spinning right now!!!

I'm so up in the air over this one.
E.K. Blair's style of writing is so gritty, descriptive, and reality based it's sometimes a hard pill to swallow.
Ordinarily this is what I love most about her book's but this one has so much brutally traumatic child abuse it caused a sickening reaction from me.

This author's writing is so mesmerizing it's sure to draw extreme reactions from her listeners.
For me mainly a lot of anxiety and that I can handle but this??
Now I'm really torn because other than the extreme abuse scenes I really liked this book.
Of course it doesn't help that it ended with a cliffhanger.
So now I'm dieing to Know what happens next.
But before I can move on in the series I have to listen to some HEA fluff in between or I'm going to need a prescription of antidepressants lol.

Elena Wolfe always does such a great job! She's​ the main reason I gave this book a chance in the first place.
So the big question is?? is it worth a credit?
I have to say yes!! it really is a good well written book.
I just couldn't listen to it straight through.

At times the narrator's voice was a little too softcore porn ish, but overall an entertaining listen.

Don't waste your time, the ending is stupid

If you don't care that the whole series is ruined by the ending, go ahead and listen to the books. You are going to feel cheated and complain at the end of the series. spoiler everybody is dead in the end.

That. was. intense.

I want to give this entire series 5 stars but it was so messed up and ends ridiculously. Read (or listen) at your own risk. There's a lot of unconsensual sex and scenes that actually made me nauseous throughout the three books.

Wow!

So dark but had me on the edge of my seat!! Now going in for book 2! Can't imagine how we move on! Definitely twisted!
