Really Really So Good!!

The writing! The dialogue! The storyline! The narrators! The steamy scenes! It’s all here! I’m going to need more books in this series!!

Wish their love story got to develop more

I realized at one of the ending scenes of them together, that there weren’t many moments where you really felt their connection. I was surprised the book was ending because I would have thought that there would be more moments of them growing their love together, instead of just managing the issues. I love the narrators and how they portrayed the characters, I think that made up for some of the lost moments of their connection.

AWESOME SERIES!

The two authors separately are great! But I feel like like together, they truly check all the boxes. They make you laugh and cry at the same time. Another great one!

Their love didn’t jump off the page

Just finished listening. And of course the narration was phenomenal as usual from these narrators. The story was OK. There wasn’t anything I hated about any of the characters. I just didn’t feel that pull between the two leads that you would expect to feel. And honestly, the storyline felt like a retread of a lot of things I’ve read before…re-organized maybe into something new, but just not what I was looking for. That being said, the writing was great as usual from these authors and it’s probably just a bit of what I’m looking for versus what the story is. Big Spoiler: this is a love triangle with a surprise baby story… if I’d had an idea of that going in I might not have bought it.

Who’s the Daddy?

This story was a tamer version of a Maury Povich episode, who’s the daddy? I freaking loved it! Owen and Devyn have a one night stand, and she ghosts him in the morning. Then come to find out that her younger brother and sister lives in the building that he owns with his friends. She’s there because her mother left again. Anyway, they start back up, but she is the one with commitment issues and then the plot twist that includes a sexy movie star. It has the humor and the heart, but I love Owen as the hero. He is so patient with Devyn as she works through her luggage size of trauma.

I really enjoyed this book, I’ve enjoyed all of them so far. Is the last one with Brendan out yet or am I somehow missing it? I would love to hear that one too bc even though all of the stories are stand alone, they wouldn’t be as good without this group of friends that became family!

What a realistic amount of turmoil between the men over her and baby

Okay I’m not gonna lie I was so irritated with Devyn for a good portion of this beautiful story but she finally got it together and saw who the best man was! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
