Really Really So Good!!

The writing! The dialogue! The storyline! The narrators! The steamy scenes! It’s all here! I’m going to need more books in this series!!

Didn't "wow" me.

This was not my favorite. The characters were not real to me. They certainly didn't act like they loved each other. The narrators were great. Sebastian York is one of my favorites.

Wish their love story got to develop more

I realized at one of the ending scenes of them together, that there weren’t many moments where you really felt their connection. I was surprised the book was ending because I would have thought that there would be more moments of them growing their love together, instead of just managing the issues. I love the narrators and how they portrayed the characters, I think that made up for some of the lost moments of their connection.

AWESOME SERIES!

The two authors separately are great! But I feel like like together, they truly check all the boxes. They make you laugh and cry at the same time. Another great one!

Loved it!

I had been waiting for Owen's story and it was perfect. I loved the storyline of Owen and his unlikely romance with Dewyn.
It was great to check-in with Owen's close friends and their families. The narrator's were perfect and brought the story to life.

Low angst ease.

Say it with me now…communication! It’s not difficult. He goaded her into jealousy. I think that’s really shitty behavior. I understood why she saw crying as a weakness.

They say the word lol, not L O L. Why is that weird to me? I didn’t catch it if Sebastian used it or not. I like Vanessa’s narration but her male voice always makes me think of a high school jock.

Not my favorite by these two, but still good. Lemme say I listened to this one first so totally out of order.

This book is such a easy listen! The narrators are so good and so a great job of playing their parts! This book is heart warming with all the a great happy ending!

This was one of those I can't put it down type listens. Trust me, you'll love it. . . . whether you're into family drama, or romance . . . this is the one for you

AN ADDICTIVE 5⭐️ EMOTIONALLY-PACKED ROLLERCOASTER

Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are two authors I already know and love writing as a dynamic duo or individually, so I knew this was going to be a great story. However, this story wasn’t just great.. it was packed full of emotional highs and lows, push and pulls, rocky roads littered with feels and a tight group of best friends who supported Devyn and Owen, gave them great advice and had their back no matter what. It’s an (off book) one night stand who unexpectedly meet again in a plot that’s got its few sexy times but certainly isn’t drown out by them. There’s heart and heavy and humor as this caring supportive hero proves he’s all in as the emotionally overloaded heroine struggles with choices and feelings, trust issues, family drama and responsibilities.. and an unplanned surprise. Then, pair all that deliciousness up with the fantastic voice acting by Sebastian and Vanessa, and you’ve got an easy on the ears compelling listen. With a hero and heroine you’re going to love as you root for them on their torn journey as the years of baggage gets lifted, as their romance slowly builds and builds and as the roadblocks eventually all lead to a very sweet and happy ending. Great secondary characters too.

Worth a credit? Yes, it’s an emotionally conflicted story that’s full of charm and I couldn’t wait for the rainbow at the end of their difficult journey.
