Interesting Start

Fun story with some surprise turns. Few areas with adult language and subject matter, but more of a Teen / Young Adult story. I liked the audio book too. Well done.

Immediately as I'm listening to the book it draws you in and completely grasp your attion. Great book I loved it can't wait to Finnish the series!

Story concept great but...

I felt like the lead character development was cumbersome. You have an Army veteran, who has seen combat, acting like a novice.

However, this book was on sale, and well worth the price. I will buy the next book to see if it gets better.

Book 1

Unique look on the paranormal. Good character, storyline, and plot development. Lex, Quinn, and Simon take steps to protect an infant with a unique gift. Lex discovers herself. This book has a little bit of everything, talk of werewolves, witches, vampires, null, kidnapping, party, suspense, drama, death, friendship, and much more.

Couldn't put it down!

Enjoyed this one very much ! Kate Rudd is a great narrator. Though at the first they sounded as if they were trying to talk over a fan or something. Other than that it was great! On to her next !!
