More of the same

This series started off strong. It now seems a little bit monotonous. Nothing exciting has happened in the last couple of installments. Lily is really stressed out and is confused about what to do. She flip-flops back-and-forth between loving Jeremy and then hating Jeremy. After a while it just gets tiresome and you kind of tune out.

Where is book 10 is all I can think about. I'm now dependent on the narrator's voice and don't want to read it myself. Should i expect a release? I thought this was it but knew there was no way it could all be wrapped up in this one book. What a roller coaster of emotions! That said, I enjoyed everything about this story except the physical violence between these two. The indifference that Lily shows after a short time passes for what Jeremy has done irks me. Part of me thought that she would finally take off at this point and he would come for her but the fact that she gives in to his piss poor showing of guilt is ridiculous. Then again, that has become a pattern with Lily throughout the books; she has these grand convictions and ideals and slowly they break down one by one, falling apart at the seams when she seems so strong at some points. I liked her because she has a strength to her and it's not gone, but it definitely dampens in a way. She doesn't realize that she's doing it, clearly, but she's playing into his hand even now, even toward the end of the series. It frustrates me, yet drives me forward to read more. I need the ending but I also need to know if I should just buy the book at this point because I don't know if I can wait for another audible release. Ugh, what to do, what to do....

Book 9 is great

This book was wonderful I couldn't stop reading it. Now I'm on the hunt for books 10 & 11.
