I really enjoyed this. it kept me interested from start to finish. I'll definitely listen to more of her books.

Interesting and Enchanting

Would you consider the audio edition of A Secret Love to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version but it was great listening to the story with air buds on, eyes closed, relaxing on a recliner.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. Each chapter has a cliffhanger at the end, and it tempted me to listen to the whole story carefully.

What does Kathryn Clark bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voice, the expression of emotions through her voice was just meticulous.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

What an ending!

What did you love best about A Secret Love?

The story was interesting right from the start and kept my attention throughout. The unpredictable twist of the story - the main idea behind the scenes was something that wouldn't have crossed my mind in a million years.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The structure of the story was such that it kept me trying to figure how the author was going to put two different scenes together. The husband cheating on his wife, Christine, and Christine being blackmailed.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favourite scene was towards the end where Derek looks at the inscription on the watch he was given as a Christmas present by his wife and children.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I definately listened to the whole book in one sitting as it was very difficult to put down - or in this case, turn off!

Needed a different narrator

This is the story of a marriage with a twist, I found the story intriguing although some parts where a bit childish narrated by Catherine Clark who's voice I found was quite monotone and sleepy. All over this is just under 2 hours audiobook and worth it just for the story line.

What did you like best about this story?

I really liked that the characters were everyday people. This made them easier to relate to. I also liked that the story moved at a good pace and kept me thinking.

This is a nice little story that left me more appreciative for my family.
