Love Otis

Otis and Sam's story is one of my favorite Hildreth books. The Botanical Gardens is easily my favorite scene!
the narrators were amazing!

Great characters.

I love Otis' mom and dad. The dinner conversations and interaction between them had me laughing out loud.

Be forewarned, spoiler alert!

It's hard to rate this book because some of it is laugh out loud funny and the storyline is really good. It was shaping up to be worth 7 or 8 stars, then the agoraphiliac thing just got really weird. I think when the H grabs a stranger in a public place and forces him to hold his woman down, the whole thing turned creepy. Then the heroine decides she wants to commit suicide because she's pregnant. I just wanted them to stay likeable. Turns out she's weak and their sex life was just ewh! It gets 4 stars because Biscuit and Otis's parents were hilarious, plus the author did warn us the characters were agoraphilics. Still got weird and broke any connection I had to the h.

This has been a fun series for me

This book is About A long lost love that is reunited 15 years after their break up. They're older, wiser ( for the most pArt)And more Appreciative of all they had and let go. However, there is some angst, which I hAte, because of a lack of communication and total honesty, on a matter. It ends with a HEA.

WARNING.....This couple enjoys public sex, role playing, acting out ravishment (near rape ) and use of derogatory language. It is consinual, but nevertheless, some listeners may find this too disturbing.
I have enjoyed the setting because it is in my home town. and there is so many Accurate references, places and local lore, it makes me smile. Anyway, it's worth a credit.

Some public shenanigans spice up the life of Otis, our alpha male hard ass in this story.

Not 100% sure why, but I’m not enjoying the male narrators in this series. It’s not that they do a terrible job, just that the voices don’t seem to match the character in my head. However, this doesn’t distract too much from the adventures of the characters, so still worth the credit.

Recommended for lovers of mc stories with an HEA.
