If you like Jane Yellow rock, you will love Nell!
While both of Faith Hunter's protagonists are searching for self, Nell has further to go. She is softer than Jane, yet tough in her own right. Hunter has given us a complex story as well as a new team of characters to care about. For those who love Jane Yellow rock, there are crossover characters from that series. I was happy to see Rick again, and see how life is treating him without Jane. I admit, I want more Nell, more than I want more Jane. I never thought that was possible.

LOVE THIS NEW SERIES!

Faith Hunter hits it out of the park again with her storytelling ability. Nell is so different from the baddass Jane of the Jane Yellowrock series, but does find her own strength as the story progresses. I'm so looking forward to the next book in the Soulwood Trilogy. Khristine Hvam, once again, also brings her own special flair to the narration. I love the camaraderie between Nell and newest PsyLED team. I especially LOVE Occam. The Faith Hunter/Khristine Hvam team is always a winner. I hope that the Soulwood Trilogy will be picked up for more than the three books. I could read/listen to books about Jane and Nell for at least twenty or thirty books each. And then over and over again.

Great story line, awesome narration.

This is my second listen to this first in a series by Faith. The main character is a lovable smart woman and is very well written. I loved this story so much that I bought book 2 before I finished this one.

Enjoyable from beginning to end!

Another wonderful story by the amazing Faith Hunter! I enjoyed every moment. Being from the area of the book, I found the accent a bit different, but enjoyed it none the less. I highly recommend the twists and turns of this fantastic series!!
