Best part was the narration

The story of “Hale” who years after his divorce goes through training to be a Dom at a BDSM club. What he finds is that his ex wife has trained to be a sub. It’s a story about them finding their way back to each other through the desires they never before dared to voice.
If you don’t like a lot of sex and crude language this is not the book for you.

Good story

I don't like men doing women's voice, nor women doing men's voices. I enjoyed the story.

Not your typical Alpha

Joe Arden was great narrator. just the right person to inhabit this flawed man and make his so relatable. I appreciated that the MC had some Everyman characteristics - he didn’t have the perfect body wasn’t the guy with all the answers etc. he seemed totally oblivious to a BDSM community which was a little hard to believe, and of course the enormous coincidence of how he found his love and partner in all things was kind of unexplained but ultimately I cheered them on and glad for their HEA.
