Got swept away

Really enjoyed this series, I bought it despite the reviews about the narrator and am really glad that I did. She will grow on you, By the time I was quarter of the way through the first book I was swept away by the story, and grew to enjoy the narrator's way of reading.

Lovely series, great characters, great story line. How can you go wrong for 70 plus hours for one credit.

Can't wait to start listening to the next series.

I agree with other reviewers that the narration on the first book was unusual,weird,sophomoric and just plain bad however, I liked the story too much to quit. After the first book, the narration got much better and the characters grew into their voices. I enjoyed the office tension knowing well in advance how it would turn out. Laughing out loud too many times to count was a bonus. I liked the series.

Sleep at last! Couldn't turn this one off.

Enjoyed this series - the who done it and why. Terrific characters, suspenseful, building a family of choice. Terrific storytelling!

Cartman!!

The reporter Genevieve sounds just like Cartman from Southpark!! Once that occurred to me I had to laugh every time the narrator used that voice. I really like the series and Brooks character except I would expect her to be more alert!! I mean she’s a cop already….

Wow I never enjoyed so many hours of listening

This story gave me hours and hours of absolute anticipation and enjoyment.I am now going to look up the next set.I loved the characters and story line…get it you will love it!
