Call me crazy... but this is a Favorite from Jade!

I love this thing. I think these two people are people who could have had other people, their own ages, but found exactly what they wanted - in each other - Laine is much older than her years - she has survived no thanks to Mom or Dad or her "friend". She knows what she wants and she doesn't have to stay - Nick gives her outs - but she's found the first guy she really wants - and knows what she doesn't want by watching Mom all these years. Laine and Nick are very self aware, and reveal intelligence and maturity in several junctures throughout. I read this a while back, the narration enhances the story. If my daughter had a man this devoted and established as Nick, yes, even at 18 or 19, I would have welcomed him - once I knew a little about him. You want a man who is ready to put his woman in front of his own needs, and yet giving her room to grow. I'm all about real devotion, intimacy, communication - and these two have this in spades. Though there is definitely sex - there is so much more to the story, just like 50 shades, that reveals itself throughout.

Can you say strange?

Well. Jade West will write some taboo shit. I mean straight up filthy, taboo stuff 🤭 I don’t even know what to think. It can push some major triggers, will make you feel downright uncomfortable. While I know this kink is out there, this pushes pretty hard. Calling your man daddy in bed or as an endearment when joking around is one thing but this just throws it ALL out there.

Okay. So right off the bat this book is not for everyone. I can tell you that much. I know for a fact people wont like this book because it's VERY taboo and kinky.

For me, this is right on up my alley. I love the taboo, forbidden and age gap. I love how Jade handled this subject. The relationship didn't feel forced or cheap, maybe for some, uncomfortable. I thought that they had great development, as a couple and individually, from beginning to end. This author is a fantastic writer and I keep forgetting that I need to read more of her work!

I loved being able to also listen along with the audio of this one. It made the experience even better!

Wow!

I haven’t read any daddy fantasy stories like this before and I have to say that I definitely had mixed feelings. It was definitely hot but felt weird and there was an underlying story there about two people that needed each other. So, if you can get past the weirdness factor, I think it’s worth the read/listen!
