Sweet short story

This was an easy listen that kept me entertained. I would have loved a longer story with more interaction between the two main characters to build up their relationship.

I love Angie Hickman Reading this series. She puts the right amout of silly crazy into her narration. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Funny & Sweet with a little twist!

This is the refreshing, short story of Millie and Cade. They have known each other since kindergarten, and now are rival journalists. The two end up in a hot air balloon trying to scoop a story with a known terrorist and end up being "blown away". Elise Sax's sense of humor is infectious, it's so easy to get caught up in the banter between Millie and Cade, and to see their true feelings. With Millie carrying a secret with her that will change their lives, their obvious love for each other and their impending doom, this book flies by with smiles and laughs.

Angie Hickman is the perfect narrator for this story. She has a lilt in her voice that gives the perfect inflections for the book, finding the humor in all the right places. I love her pace and voices and enjoyed her performance.

Hilarious!

This was my first Elise Sax's book and won't be the last. This story is hilarious! I love the two main characters, Millie and Cade. Millie is feisty and Cade is so sweet and protective! This story is fast-paced, with a little suspense. The narration is also great and easy to listen. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the Series.
