I love KL Slater but…

I love KL Slater and especially Lucy Price-Lewis as the narrator, but this book is very slow. I listened to the entire book so it was horrible but it wasn’t good either. If it wasn’t for the narrator I would have certainly given up on this one. The ending was good but very rushed! I wish the entire book had more of what the ending offered. Ugh I hate leaving bad reviews. I try not to leave a review if it isn’t positive but there are so many other KL Slater books that are great this is just not one of them in my opinion.

Get on with it already!

I have 3 hours left, no idea what's going on. Too many mysteries at once.

Alright to listen too but not very interesting. It was not one of her best books.

Don't know why ?

I'm not sure why I didn't totally enjoy this book. At times it seemed slow and boring, too much inner thoughts and not enough actual conversations. However I listened to the entire story,so that should mean something. I did enjoy the twists and turns in the plot and surprises.

Great Ending

Definitely did not see that ending coming!!! It all worked great though. It’s a complex story but keeps you riveted!

Narration was great as usual!
