Decent

As far as SHTF stories go, this one isn’t bad. The narrator has a bard time dealing with so many characters. They all sound the same.

Good series.

Story moves along comfortably. As our most of these books people do stupid stuff along the way but turns out good. Would recommend if you’re looking for a good read.

Some good parts

I said I would not get this book after listening to book 2. Glad I changed my mind. There was enough real life activity ...courting, marriage, small business enterprises, farming, to make this worthwhile. Still the same formula villains.

Nice ending tying all 3 books together.

What happened with Jack?

The story didnt address what happened with Jack ? Earlier in the story, he was off fighting fires in another state. I was really hoping he was going to come back home at the end of the story, but the author didn’t even address it?
Overall, I did enjoy this series of books very much!
