One of Dean Koontz's best books!

This is a great story, especially for animal lovers everywhere. I read it when it was first published, but I am so glad I listened to this new audible version..... what a story and listening to Edoardo Ballerini is a joy! I never cared for Koontz's Odd Thomas books and had forgotten about this one. Thanks audible for bringing it to life!

For those who are hopeful believers in the power of love

I don’t write reviews. I’m lazy. But, for this book, I was compelled to submit an opinion. I haven’t read many of Dean’s work. And I am firmly of the opinion that every book after this one will fall short. Which makes me somewhat sad. But...
The characters and their depth and description were fleshed out beautifully. The conflicts that were presented and the way they were resolved was immensely satisfying. The moral questions that were presented and argued were seen from all positions. The emotional connection to the heroes and the bad guys was deeply felt. This book was spectacular.

What a great book! One of the better that I've listened to lately. All around happy, suspenseful and feel good book.
