Definitely Interesting

Wow, very interesting perspective. This is so not my thing, but I listened with an open mind in the search to understand a different perspective. While this won't change my mind on the path I chose (with God), I completely respect your opinion and found this very interesting. I think anyone who's versed on the subject or has any interest will find it awesome. I always want to learn, whether it's good for me or not, and I definitely learned a lot about the subject. :)

Take This Book With a Grain of Salt

Audiobook: The Psychedelic Path

A generous three stars

I'm not sure how I felt about this audiobook. I'm over 50 and have learned early on not to believe everything you read (or hear). I'd like to make it clear that I have zero interest in using hallucinagenic drugs or anything else. I love the idea of higher enlightenment but through other channels. I meditate, reflect,and pray daily,

I would recommend NOT doing the drugs to explore deeper into the mind or for a 'vision quest' or anything else however I've known people that have taken acid and didn't have all these negative experiences.

I don't want to denigrate this author's experiences with hallucinagenic plants or anything else but a lot of this sounded like hogwash. Too much about demons, tricksters, Jesus, and suicide. Pass....

Take It or Leave It

I wan't overly impressed with this book. The author didn't talk much about shaman plants. It was more about himself and hiding from his wife, as well as claiming he didn't need psychedelics yet he does them anyway. The narration was good but the story wasn't what the title says it is. Sorry, not much else worth saying about this book, try it at your own risk.

This book was very helpful it brought me a lot of clarity. I love everything about it. I would recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in transcending the ego.

One person's perspective

I loved this audio book but you should know that I highly respect all of this author's work. I have read all of his books more than once. If you are on the path to awakening each of his books has a lot to offer if you have an open mind. If you are looking for a book on psychedelics then this book most likely isn't for you but, if you're looking for an honest attempt to find the ultimate you should definitely give this book a read/listen.
