Great content, read if possible

I enjoyed listening to Kamala’s book, and I have gained a much greater understanding of where she comes from. I have to admit though, I wish I had read this book instead of listening to it. I often like to listen to these types of books, and to hear the authors tell their stories in their own voices. Not with this book. I have much respect for Kamala, but you could tell she was reading, and she didn’t read it smoothly. Her sentence breaks were all over the place, and she often paused, causing you to think a sentence had been completed, only to pick up and carry on with the same sentence again. Toward the last third of the book, it became extremely distracting. It also sounded as she was congested for that part of the book as well. And if that is the case, I think her editors should have her go back for a redo. I’ve heard her speak often, and I’ve been impressed with her each time. While I enjoyed the content, and the messages shared, the delivery was disappointing.

The Answer to My Prayer!

This Book is testament to what ‘Faith’ looks like when put forth by a Human Being.
AND, had not the American CASTE system been put into play in 1619; Kamala Harris would be President of this USA!

A Deeper Look Into A Leader For These Times

I didn’t know much about Kamala Harris before hearing this book. It is an interesting and insightful story of who she is and what she stands for.

It leaves one hopeful that we may restore integrity to the executive branch. Kamala is for the people and understands the importance of remembering how much more alike we are than different. How refreshing to hear a leader who believes in and expects personal accountability.

The Truth

This book gave me a deeper view of Kamala Harris and social issues of today. She has skillfully woven her life story into her life mission. l really enjoyed hearing her voice telling her story. Great!!!

I Respect Her More

In her book, Ms. Harris expounds on the various projects she was involved with that many may not know about that helped her community. She opened my eyes to so much injustice happening in the US...and I'm a news junky who tries to stay informed.

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because I wanted more insight into her. This was a very good read with many life lessons. I recommend it as a good read, especially if you are an attorney.

An Amazing Story of an Amazing Woman

This memoir is inspiring, motivating and a must read for every United States citizen. There so many words of wisdom and happenings to provoke thinking.

The true will make you cry.

In hearing Mrs. Harris life experiences and realizing that will are still dealing with the same issues as 100 years ago it will make you cry, but know she is fighting for all of us will give you hope.

Hopefully written by our next president. Words matter, and Kamala knows how to use them.
