About the Author

James A. Hunter is a man of many talents. A retired Marine Corps Sergeant, combat veteran, and pirate hunter (seriously). He's also a member of the Royal Order of the Shellback. In addition to all of that, James Hunter has also been a missionary and international aid worker in Bangkok, Thailand. His latest mission? Taking care of his two kids and writing full time.

About the Author

eden has a fondness for characters you wouldn't want to be friends with: jerks, cheaters, lunatics, sleazebags, and cowards all find their voice in her often twisted and bizarre stories. Influenced by the writings of Stephen King and Douglas Adams, her stories often involve swords, guns, or magic. She is the author of the Redneck Apocalypse series and the Jubal Van Zandt series.

any book this man can make into a masterpiece I swear it. the book itself is moderately good, it's a little different and I think I love it! but nick podehl is truly a masterful reader. he puts emotion into every word that many other audio readers fail to even come close to. listen to all of Nick's books, and you'll know exactly what I mean.

Interesting take on the litrpg genre. I liked the characters and world building. Good narration as well. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I will be recommending it to my friends, especially those who liked VGO and Wasteland warlords. I wish I would have read this series before Wasteland though... ( This is earlier in the same universe) It's still a great story and I'll be getting the rest of them along with anything else that is part of this universe.
