Low Angst 🎄

I needed a Christmas listen, a friend suggested this story. Low angst. Slightly hot. Good listen while decorating the house for the holidays. Macy is a jumper of conclusion. Dean is just hanging on however he can.

Great narrators!

Second Chance Romance - Macy & Dean

Macy and Dean were neighbors when they were young and in high school. Macy was caring for her younger sister, as their alcoholic father had deserted them and their mother had passed away when Lynn was a baby. Dean did the best he could to help but he knew it was a lost cause, and Macy & Lynn were eventually sent away to live with an elderly aunt in California.

10 years later, and Macy is returning to Lovers Leap for the first time. She's still angry with Dean - but a winter storm followed by a car accident and then a near miss with an avalanche, with Dean being the first on the scene, and now these two find themselves holed up in a nearby ranger station to wait out the storm. Suddenly, they have all the time in the world to talk, to apologize, and to realize that their feelings for each other haven't changed.

Things move fast in this story, and it's a quick read too. Heartwarming.

this is a short story with a cute, sweet second chance for old loves romance.

A really good story

I bought this book on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The storyline flowed really well and the characters were believable. I really enjoyed this book and hope you will too.
