Envy (Eagle Elite #11.5) was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. There are many rules for a mafia family. Do not speak to the bosses unless they speak to you; do not make eye contact unless you want to die; and do not fall in love. Renee Cassani is betrothed with her future already planned. She is a nanny for the five families for the summer. Vic Colezan is a man that doesn’t take no for an answer. And Renee is the one thing that he wants, even if she is set to marry another. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.

This book had me captivated from the very beginning. Suspense, intrigue, secrets, and romance all rolled into one incredible story. I loved the push and pull between Vic and Renee. I adored their story and love they get a happily ever after. The secrets and connections that are revealed with each book in the series are very well written. I never tire of reading about these families. Love seeing the hero find the woman that brings them to their knees. The banter and razzing between characters is a highlight of these books. I highly recommend this book and this series!
