A wonderful, thrilling tale!

This book was beautifully voiced and the story compelling. Had me on the edge of my seat for most of the book. I highly recommend everyone to listen to this one. I am (impatiently) waiting for the next book.

What a fabulous book!

Ok, apart from ending leaving me wanting more I loved this! The storyline flows and the characters are well written.
This narrator is excellent and does total justice to the whole.
I highly recommend listening to the tale.
I am going to get the book and will continue onto the sequel as I really want to know what happens next!

Love her work!

This is such a great story with great characters. Rielle is an interesting main characters and her story is full of twists and turns. Mix in magic, mages and her fiend Oliva and you are in for an adventure and I can't wait to see what's next.

This book leaves me thinking about it long after I put it down.

The description of this story was already intriguing; a world full of magic, knights, damsels in distress and the ones putting them there. Then, I saw it was narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb and that sold me. I loved her narration of the Court of Thorns and Roses series and this book was just as good. It was wonderfully long and an enjoyable story. This was a surprisingly good book. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars, was that the characters were too rational for all the peril and drama that they faced. They all had an amazing control of their emotions, and verbalized quite well. I can completely believe in the magic system, it made sense and had rules. The amazing control made John the most wonderful book boyfriend in the world. Just not quite believable. No one is that amazing. All in all, a definite must read (or listen.) I can’t wait to find out what happens to everyone in the next book.

Thank you for making me fall in love with these characters! On to book two! So so good! Amanda Leigh Cobb is possibly the best narrator there is.
