The story, as always was great and the narration superb.

Tour de force for Crais

loved it, wish it were longer cause I could've listened for another week. This story moved like a freight train from beginning to end.

Another great listen

Now the wait begins for the next Pike novel :(. Always enjoy this series and have a hard time waiting for the next book.

Better than expected

I was skeptical at first as I didn't like Pike's voice. About a hour later it grow on me as the story drew me in. The rest of the characters were acted well with distinct voices and cadence. Story was easy to follow and didn't feel rushed. The bad guys were interesting with good description of physical traits. At about 7 hours it was swift, to the point, and filled with action.
