Not great

The story wasn't great nor was the narration. Both were uneven. Was great for putting me to sleep in parts and in others kept me interested.

Excellent story, from the first book on

I've throughly enjoyed the entire series. The first book definitely has the authors state of mind showing through from when he was writing it. It's dark, but a great peek into the mindset of returning warriors. David Rivers and the rest of the cast are very well written, and I have great respect for the author writing this from the first person. Can't wait for more.

Suspenseful with a twisted ending

Very action packed story with plenty of twists. Narrator was very good and made me want to keep listening. Loved the strange twist in the ending.

far too much descriptive

if the author took a course in descriptive writing he should get his money back. Each sentence was filled with so much detail it put me to sleep. if the book had half the words in it it might have been worth while.

Not bad, didn’t see the end coming
