Publisher's summary

From number one best-selling and USA Today best-selling author Jack Mars, author of the critically-acclaimed Luke Stone and Agent Zero series (with over 5,000 five-star reviews), comes an explosive new, action-packed thriller series that takes listeners on a wild-ride across Europe, America, and the world.

When elite Navy Seal Troy Stark is forced into retirement for his dubious respect for authority, he dreads the quiet life awaiting him with his brothers and buddies in Yonkers, New York. But the quiet doesn’t last long: The NYPD needs Troy’s military expertise to help find and stop a major terrorist threat to New York City. To pre-empt the attack, they need him to fly to Europe and stop it at its source—using any means necessary.

Troy finds himself partnered with an Interpol agent who is as different from him as can be, and their instant dislike is mutual. But they have an attack to stop, and only a few days to do it, and together they’ll need each other as they criss-cross Europe in a high-octane cat-and-mouse chase to shut these terrorists down.

But what starts off as a straightforward mission (and an opportunity to clear his name) soon catapults Troy headfirst into a global conspiracy. These criminals are more sophisticated than they appear, and even with Troy’s unparalleled military skills, he and his team find themselves constantly one stop behind. With the fate of New York City on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Where will they strike? And when? And can Troy stop it before it’s too late?

An unputdownable action thriller with heart-pounding suspense and unforeseen twists, Rogue Force is the debut novel in an exhilarating new series by a number one best-selling author that will have you fall in love with a brand new action hero—and listen late into the night.

Books 2-5 in the series are now also available.

Canned For Quick Sale

Way too little personal creativity. Lots of forced interaction with very little story history behind them. Still, enough enjoyable that probably worth the sales price. Not worthy of author if Terminal List.

Most Excellent Indeed

Great, explosive series. Dare devil operative with talented, serious backup crew. No one knows one another, but they operate in unison like ballet troupe. Excellent narration as well. Highly recommended. Enjoy!!

Just plain fun

Troy Stark is a disaffected former soldier who turns out to be the right guy to thwart a terrorist attack. The narrator is wonderful, giving voice to a full range of characters and accents. Great start to a new series. I just picked up book 2. Enjoy!

Some imagination

Different idea partly. Part good, part needs reality suspension. Average. I suggest a different reader.

JackW

A predictable book. Torture, kill; torture, kill; torture, kill and stop the attack. I did like narration. Sacramento had a nice voice for all the different characters.

BIG AND STUBBORN

The hero, Troy Stark, is described as a big, Hoss Cartwright, kind of dummy, yet very stubborn and has redeeming qualities. For instance he is persistent, totally convinced of doing the "right" thing, and morally rigid when it comes to protecting others. Storyline is plausible and well developed with several little twists and turns. I suspect most people will enjoy the drama and excitement of this adventure.

It’s no Gray Man but it’s good

I liked the book a lot. Nice plot and the overall performance was good. All in all it was a good find.
