There are hidden agendas and ruthless power plays that make it difficult to tell friend from foe. Finding himself in a bind he can’t get out of, Wes needs to ensure he has the will to still survive with the consequences of his decisions, or risk losing his humanity.

Great book!

So far this series has kept me wanting more. It’s been wonderful listening to a dystopian novel that has a different story to tell. And, it’s being told wonderfully. I can’t wait for the next book given the cliffhanger ending of this one. Money well spent.

Chopped up into five or six five hour books.

It takes five or six credits to buy what realistically should have been placed in two books max. Is this fraud perpetrated by the author or Audible?????? I hate to be left hanging at the end of each book only to discover that to reach the you will have to six books and spend six credits. Rip off!!!!!!!!!

Great book

The character development continues while the plot becomes more compelling. The cliff hanger makes it impossible to not read the next book in the series.
