Sad....

Main character Jemma started off squared and became well rounded. I gotta say I am not a huge fan of the love triangle. Reminds me to much of twilight or vampire diaries, but I get the need for drama. Totally team Trace and in fact found myself looking for his parts in the story.... I need more of him... forget Dom... he annoys me... give me all round good guy. Fun read/listen!!

Now while I do think Trace and Gemma make a cute couple, how jealous, insecure, controlling, and how not trusting of Gemma he is, just makes me happy that he is out of the picture. Whereas Dominic is confident, doesn't hide what he wants, and goes to great lengths for Gemma. His patience for her, his unwavering loyalty (even when Trace would go after him out of jealousy), and his intensity for her just makes everything great and makes me root so much harder for him. I am semi-glad with how this book ended, only because Nikki could not leave well enough alone and Dominic waiting for Gemma to heal. I am #TeamDominic all the way!! He has risked his life over and over again for her, kept her alive and sane when Engel had her, and he would not change a thing. wish there was someone like him in real life!! 💙💚💙💚
