dark and hot

very dark and very stemmy book with a lot of anxiety moments but it's so worth it I loved the book the story was wonderful enjoyable the narrator made me cry it was a very good book to listen to

Great Dark Romantic Suspense!

This is the second book in The Vindicator Series. This is a great Dark Romantic Suspense. The storyline is captivating. Jillian and Chaz's story is heartbreaking, breathtaking, filled with angst and violence. The story has a great ending. Sarah Puckett did an amazing job with the narration. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.

Definitely heavy!!!! I love dark thrilling romance and this book has everything, but be warned it is not for the faint of heart!!!
Sarah does an outstanding job of telling this story!!! But.....She has only one, maybe two voices, so it was often confusing to know which character is speaking. However the story is so good I really did not care. It is gripping from prologue to epilogue !!!!

Intense

This is one of those books that is almost impossible to guess what is going to happen.
There is almost every trigger warning needed and it’s the dark and depraved beauty that I love to read.

Captures you

Sarah Puckett did a great job narrating this book and really adding dimension to the characters and bringing them to life. I really felt as if she put some passion into these characters and the emotions these characters had in the background were quite large,

As to the story I felt like the story itself had a great flow with some interesting little twists and turns built in. The two main characters have some interesting history and their skeletons and emotional baggage create for an interesting read. I do feel like I need to go back and read book 1 as I am sure there is information which would help this book go a little smoother for me.

Raw and Dark

Talk about a raw dark romance! Kathy Coopmand is a newer author to me and the couple books I have read or listened to by her definetly delivered! This book discusses .urder,abuse, and sex trafficking. This is not a book for people with triggers. I finished this book with so many feelings!
Sarah Puckett did an awesome job narrating! she helped make the story come to life.

Suspenseful

Chaz and Jillian had hard lives. Things in their past and things happening in the present. This story has a lot of angst, love, beginnings and endings.

Chaz wants revenge against those who have wronged him and he will stop at nothing to make sure everyone single person who had their hands in her death pays. His promise to her was broken and now the time has come for people to pay but things quickly change.

Jillian also had plans and as the say the more things change to more some things stay the same. Her will is stronger and she decides she will not be a victim. Her mind is now stronger and she will get what she wants. This story is grity and eye opening. There is romance in the book but it's dark and there is light.

This is the first book I have listened to in the series but I would recommend starting from the beginning to know all the characters.

Dark and Violent with warning

This story definitely has angst and violence but the readers are warned ahead of time. This is a good story about sex trafficking and violence to women and men with no holding back. It is good to read a story with grit and violent perspectives once in awhile because these things actually happen in real life to people. I did however have some trouble following along and I think it is partly due to the narration. This is a good narrator but in this book I could not distinguish the voices and would have preferred a dual narration. #audiobookobsession

Good Story!

I loved the characters and the storyline but I felt there could have been more dialogue between characters and more action. Although the story really picked up well towards the end. From the warnings I think I expected it to be more graphic. It was a good story for me but I didn’t love it.
Regarding the narration. The narrator is really good in that she does well speaking and acting the parts etc. however, in this book it was difficult for me to distinguish between the male and female characters.
